The National Association of the Remodeling Industry, that’s what it is. Essentially this organization is the voice of the remodeling industry.
The core purpose of NARI is “to advance and promote the remodeling industry’s professionalism, product and vital public purpose”.
To that end NARI has set the bar for the values, standards and ethics of its members in the remodeling industry. They work for you, the consumer, by developing and vetting remodeling companies so you can at least start interviewing companies that have some recognized level of competence and ethical standards. You can search for ‘Accredited Contractors’ by zip code to find members in your area.
They also work to develop member’s knowledge of all aspects of remodeling. From best practices to universal design, this organization produces instructional programs to help along those members with training and support. One of their criteria is to have top tier training in the industry. As Tom Reilly is a registered Architect as well as a General Contractor, our training was considered the top of the tier.
